What is Semi-Permanent?
Also known as eyebrow embroidery. This method is relatively new and it is manually done. It is considered to be semi permanent. It is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we are impacting colour closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp and very fine. There is no “spilling” under the skin. This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present. The pigment used in this method have been formulated to match your original eyebrow colour, and if eyebrows are present, blend perfectly into them.
The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over a 2week period. It is absolutely crucial to have a touch up done within one month as colour will fade /soften anywhere from 40-60%. At touch up we will tune any area that has faded too much. Results will vary from person to person. The result can last anywhere from 11 to 18 months depending on different factors. However, touch up is recommended once a year to retain the shape and saturation pigment.
Types Of Microblading
1 Microblading
Unlike a regular tattoo, microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine. Hair like strokes are drawn to mimic natural hairs in your brows. Even though it’s not as deep as the regular tattoo, it’s still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin.
2 Microshading
There are several forms of microblading including micro feathering which is microblading with a lighter touch focused on adding just a little to the brows’ existing shape, and ombré or microshading, which mimics the look of brow makeup with a more obviously filled-in look instead of hair-like strokes.
3 Tattoo Eyeliner
Does it hurt?
Overall it feels like cat scratches. Pain varies from client to client.
How do they tattoo eyeliner?
As for the actual process of applying tattooed eyeliner, we will clean the area with an eye-approved antibacterial and then apply a numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. Then micro-droplets of colored pigments are inserted between your lashes and under the skin with a special machine tool.
*For eyeliner, it is very important for you to ice throughout the first day to prevent the risk of color migration.

What’s Next If I Am Healed?
After your final touch-up, your permanent makeup should last between one and 3 years, depending on how well you take care of the area. We recommend that you wait two years before coming in for another touch-up. We also encourage the use of an SPF-30 or higher sunscreen year-round as well as sunglasses (for liner and brow clients). An SPF face stick is very convenient (and our favorite) for use on your eyebrows.
