Russian Manicure and Pedicure in Lakeshore

Your gel is only as good as the cuticle work underneath it. A Russian manicure removes the dead skin a regular manicure leaves behind, so your gel sits right at the cuticle line and still looks freshly done weeks later.

What is a Russian manicure?

A Russian manicure, also called a dry manicure or e file manicure, skips the soaking and clipping. Your artist uses a fine electric file to gently lift and remove dead skin around the cuticle, then applies gel right up to the cuticle line.

  • Perfectly clean, smooth cuticles
  • Gel so close to the cuticle that grow out is barely visible
  • A manicure that looks freshly done for three to four weeks
  • Finished with a relaxing hand massage

Russian pedicure

The Russian pedicure gives your toes the same careful cuticle work, smooths dry skin and finishes with regular or gel polish for a crisp, long lasting result. Perfect for sandal season, vacations and special events.

Questions clients ask before booking

Is a Russian manicure safe?

Yes, when it is done by a trained artist with sterilized tools. The electric file only removes dead skin around the cuticle and never cuts living tissue. Your skin should look clean and calm afterwards, never red or sore.

Does the e file hurt?

No. Most clients find it relaxing. Your artist works gently and checks in with you throughout.

How long does a Russian manicure last?

Most clients go three to four weeks before a refresh, because the gel is applied right at the cuticle line.

Why does it cost more than a regular gel manicure?

It takes longer and uses more detailed cuticle work, and the result lasts longer, so most clients book less often.

Is a deposit required?

Yes, a small deposit holds your Russian manicure appointment.
